Job Opportunity: Solution Architect (Mainframe) - Pre-Sales

Do you want to work with leading player in Mainframe Infrastructure solutions, committed to driving innovation and efficiency in enterprise environments. We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with a strong focus on Mainframe technologies to join our Pre-Sales team.

Position: Solution Architect (Mainframe) - Pre-Sales

Experience: 12-20 years total experience; 10-15 years relevant experience

Technical Level: Level 4

Location: Gothenburg

Job Description:

Technical Skills and Competencies Required:

• Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in system programming, architecture & design within Mainframe infrastructure projects. • Proficiency in Mainframe & Storage hardware systems. • In-depth understanding of Enterprise Mainframe Architecture. • Track record in implementing mainframe service improvement plans. • Technical expertise in one or more mainframe subsystem technologies (e.g., z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, mainframe security). • Ability to provide thought leadership & solutions for Legacy modernization, MIPS optimization, and storage consolidation. • Cost awareness and management.

Exposure/Experience in Pre-Sales Activities:

• Contributions to RFI & RFP technical answers. • Designing and presenting technical solutions. • Conducting brief Pilots and Proofs of Concept. • Providing consulting and SME scoping assistance. • Familiarity with SOWs & pricing metrics for Mainframe Infrastructure services. • Leading technical demonstrations and providing expertise to clients. • Analyzing, documenting, and reporting client requirements. • Offering technical guidance to mainframe customers.

General Skills and Competencies Required:

• Proactive self-starter with strong time management skills. • Effective communicator in both one-to-one and group settings. • Proficient in delivering formal presentations at various organizational levels. • Skilled in understanding business needs and crafting comprehensive solutions. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Adherence to policies and procedures with attention to detail. • Efficient planner and organizer with sound judgment. • Commitment to quality management and continuous improvement. • Adaptability to varying demands and technologies. • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Education: Master´s or Bachelor´s degree

Language Requirement: English (French and/or Swedish proficiency is an added value)
