We are looking for a Business Controller to work with our Marketing and Innovation function. You will play an active and important role as a financial business partner for our Foods Brand & Portfolio Retail and OOH and Foods R&D teams.

This is a temporary position to cover for a parentall Leave from end of April 2024 to approximately January 2025.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Key responsibilities include ownership of product development business cases input, coordination of financial details, challenging on feasibility & profitability, tracking innovation success and post launch follow-ups. You will be working closely with portfolio managers and project owners as well as commercial and supply chain business controllers to create robust business cases. This role is responsible also for cost controlling, planning and forecasting of Foods Marketing & Innovation teams. This role will be placed in Mölndal, Gothenburg and report directly to Director, Group Business Controlling.

Other responsibilities within this role

• Evaluation of Business risks and opportunities driven by Brands & Portfolio and R&D Foods • Support Foods portfolio Price Strategy • Support Financial reporting BI solutions of Brands Portfolio, R&D, K&I and CP&D needs

REPORTING AND PLANNING

• Monthly financial analysis and profitability follow-up of portfolio assortment • Monthly accruals for MI • Manage cost control within MI teams • Responsibility of Plan (budget) process for MI Foods teams, plan deviation analysis and supporting in forecasting

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Minimum university degree in BA or Economics • Minimum 3-5 year experience in similar role, preferable in international company in FMCG or similar industry • Ability to translate complex financial impacts into simple business terms • Ability to challenge • Highly analytical and self-driven • Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles • Fluency in English and preferably “Scandinavian” language • Advanced level in use of Excel

OTHER This is a temporary position to cover for a Maternal Leave from April 2024 to approximately January 2025. This role will be placed in Mölndal, Gothenburg and report directly to Director, Group Business Controlling.
