Job scope High level purpose of function. Production Line Maintenance Mgmt (Levels 1 through 6): Oversees the maintenance of production equipment. Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets company standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Oversees technicians that repair and maintain the production and test equipment. Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Manages training programs to ensure proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures. Maintains inventory and/or spare parts. Schedules manufacturing activities. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Key responsibilities Overall areas of responsibility and activities. Assist Production Manager in planning, managing, and executing production operations. Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations. Ensure that all equipment, materials, and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes. Address employee concerns and complaints in professional manner as well as interviewing, hiring and training new employees. Optimize production operations to meet quality and performance standards. Analyze overall budget and implement cost-optimization initiatives, as well as determine resource requirements and work allocation for production operation.

Qualifications and experience Bachelor of science in mechanical/industrial engineering or similar. Proven Leadership in manufacturing Organizations Experience in the modern Operations Management principles: Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Documented leadership training
