Assignment Description: We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Lead (Mining & Metals) to join our dynamic team What you will work on: Coordinate and oversee mechanical design projects on behalf of the client, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines. Utilize expertise in the mining and steel industries to effectively contribute to the design process. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate design solutions and optimize project outcomes. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior mechanical designers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Interact with stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure project alignment with objectives. Utilize programs such as Plant 3D, Inventor, and Solidworks to enhance design efficiency and accuracy. Knowledge within Sitebase is advantageous and considered a merit.

What you bring: Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong track record of successful project delivery. Proficiency in the mining and steel industries, with a comprehensive understanding of relevant design principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor junior staff and provide guidance in complex design projects. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in programs such as Plant 3D, Inventor, and Solidworks is a requirement. Fluent in English and Swedish
